yes get some dawn soap mixed w/ warm water & maybe an old soft brissle tooth brush… && scrub it. when you think the stain has come out pat it dry w/ s towel or cloth. if when the spot is completely dry the stain is still there, just go to walmart & get a good carpet spot treatment & that should be the end of it. hope this helps
